If it were not for gathering, most people do not go back to their homeland very often, except for Baliniese. Distance nor budget sometimes is not a determinant factor to fly back for ceremonies-- not because there are many of them. We just will find one or other way.
Holiday this May allows us to take leave from the office and luckily it coincides with my assignment to prearrange tour for my company. There we go , five of us, on budget air. Again.
First two days we stay here for free. Great weather, perfect beach, nice swimming pool. The three boys just could not stop taking a dip at thepool, playing with the sands in a quite serene clean beach, licking ice cream by the shore.
Three nights in Singaraja just flies away. We went to our family temple in Banjar region, after praying the kids were amazed by the cocks in the neighborhood. Perhaps it runs in their blood to be interested in such pet , though it might be too soon to assume they'll enjoy the cock-fight as their previous generation.
One last night we spent in Kuta, just for a comparison. Had a family room in this hotel, big enough room for five of us with close access to the beach. Rain refrains us from witnessing the sunset, anyway there'll be another sunset everyday in other side of this planet too.
After all the ceremonies we went through, the conclusion is.....we need to back to Bali for another ceremony for Akira. Well, take the silver line of the cloud : we are expected to receive some more blessing.
