Terimakasih Tuhan,
untuk semua kesedihan, kekecewaan, kegundahan
sehingga saya terpekur, menundukkan kepala dan mencakupkan tangan
memohon petunjuk dan pengharapan
Terimakasih anak-anakku,
Terimakasih teman-teman,
untuk semua pandangan dan saran
juga airmata penyertaan atau tawa penuh kegembiraan
susah-senang, bokek-tajir, sahabat jiwa disemua keadaan
Terimakasih, terimakasih

to quit does not make you loser
As a grown up, sometimes we feel that we know what we are doing and why. We even brag about the risks that we anticipate and the percentage of success. Some of us even claim that they choose certain people to make it happen. Or they claim that they mold people to achieve it.
Sometimes, things got out of our hands. Really really out of hands. There are things we can do: admit defeat and get up again, or blame it on someone, or something, or the timing.
When you play the role of a leader, things could be more complicated. When you are squeezed in between like a sandwich, it could be worse, or the worst. Especially when things get tougher, and tougher, and you yourself could no longer stand just to watch yourself fall. When you were thinking of the domino effects after your fall, perhaps you try to gain some strength. But only for some time.
Then the time comes when you have a strong feeling that you have to choose the fight and the field, and you just have to tell them in the eye, that you are not one of the childrens of gods/godess. In your head, you just have to shout out "Stop trying to make miracles". So you decided to walk out the fighting field, on fire, and realize that you could never come out clean. So you quit, so what?
Just never wear guilt to oppose Napoleon (he died anyway) upon his statement" Winners never quit, quitters never win". In life, there are a lot of more important hings than winning. On the other hand, quit for a reason is something a winner should also learn.
These are good reasons to quit on something, though.
1. Quit arguing with people about the same old foolishness
2. Quit trying to pull people on your journey who don't want to travel with you.
3. Quit complaining about things you can't and won't change.
4. Quit blaming each other for things that in the big picture aren't going to matter three weeks from now
5. Quit trying to change people
6. Quit the job you hate! Start pursuing your passion.
7. Quit volunteering for things that you aren't getting any personal fulfillment from anymore
8. Quit making excuses about why you are where you are or why you can't do what you want to do
9. Quit waiting on others to give you the answers, and start finding the answers for yourself
