A Birthday for a 34-year mom

Birthday used to be special when you can invite all of your friends, including enemies, to let them clap their hands singing a happy birthday song before you blow the candles and hope your dreams come true.

As you grow up, less parties thrown, less presents received, less people even remember the date. Then you learn to enjoy the celebration in your own way, in a new definition of a birthday. A light kiss from your husband as the sun rises and hugs from the kids as they sing the song with the lyrics they do not even remember, let alone knowing the meaning, will leave a whole-day smile on your face.

A birthday itself indeed is a present for yourself. From God, to you. For the life and the packages brought to you (joy, sorrow, reservations, faith, disappointment, hopes, worries, dreams, silence, chaos, peace, dillema--and others--just name it). Once you discover another dimension of the meaning, you will award yourself a bigger present than ever.

Anyway , great thanks for the cake and the wishes!!!
