Our superheroes

Having three boys in the family should be fun for a mom like me, as they continously live my imagination. As they adore their own superheroes; Wisnu is fond of Ultraman and Power Ranger, Akira sees himself as Naruto while Andhika is quite certain that he is as strong as Batman.

It only took you Rp 40,000 for each piece of superhero costume in any Trade Center. When the season of "shower-reluctance" comes --when they refuse to take a shower for whatever reason--, the best prescription from me is.... asking them whether they would like to wear the superheroes wear on one condition that they will take a shower. It works manytimes.

Also, when they have a quarrel over toys, the fairest thing in the world to do for a mom is shouting "guys, superheroes don't fight over toys. Gambreeeng yukkkkk! Then tehy go "om pimpa alaihom gambreng, pok inem pake baju keren, maen kaleng pak dumbreng dumbreng"

Boys will be boys.....
