Coz we are pals

It does not matter
if we are misundersood
or our good intentions
are considered misleading

we do not hurt each other
or say things we'll regret
or things we do not mean

still, we live our own lives,
choose our own paths,
whatever it takes

though it hurts
sometimes it's better
to say it straight
than leave it unsaid
