The twin's birthday

May 26 is Aji and Aunty Evi's 33th birthday. Look at them-- twin but do not look much alike.

In the morning, Aunty Evi shook Aji's hand, and they said " Happy b'day" to one another. No hug nor kiss. Why? That's the way they are.

There are two things about May 26 this year that Aji forgot: it was his b'day and it was Friday, not Thursday.

Aji did not remember his birthday until Aunty Evi congratulated him. Perhaps it works well that way for Aji --so if people forgot his b'day, he just would not bother at all.

Ibu prepared breakfast for Aji and Aunty Evi, but Aji said he was fasting. He thought that it was Thursday (as he often fasts on Mondays and Thursdays). Do'oh.

At lunch Wawa, Oom Subhan, Ameera and Azka came. Everybody enjoyed the yellow riice but those who were celebrating b'day: coz Aunty Evi was still in the office, Aji was fasting.

In the evening Wisnu and Alexa blew the candles and sang "Happy b'day" song happily. No b'day cake but two pieces of big donuts that Ibu made. The following days, those two kids would ask for blowing the candles over and over again.
