Advice on ur wedding

Finally the day arrrived.
Long reservations,
waiting and weighing,
for the right time.

On that day, real big day
dowries are ready
bestmen are welldressed
family and relatives gathered

a kiss on a cheek from your old man
save some prayer from a far
before you depart to make your vow

The father of the bride
took your hand
and watch your words
for you to keep his daughter
as your wife,
like in any religion,
for better for worse

Tears flow on your mother's cheek
more about being happy for you
than feeling losing her youngest son
to start a new life in a new path

We are happy for you, Pak Didot, Bu Elly
Be happy and grow old together
Show respect and appreciation to each other

Look for the good in your spouse
Do not allow unkind comments from your lips
say "yes" a lot more than "no" for your favor
say things sweet and nice sincerely

be smart about when to keep quiet,
when it is time to talk.
give yourselves some space,
instead of arguing over and over again
when things getting out of hand
