Indulge yourself in Indonesian Resto in Yokohama and Tokyo area

One of our loyal blog readers started to complain when she found out some of articles are written in Indonesian Language. The thing is some of our Indonesian readers also complain upon reading the English posting.Do'oh... If only we are fluent in Japanese, we'd have published it in Nihonggo so that nobody will complain . Unfortunately my Japanese is hopeless !!!

To translate those articles in english will trigger the bilingual readers to comment on my lousy Indonesian dictions and it's better off to rewrite similar topic but different content.

Our previous post entitled " Jajan Makanan Kampung Halaman di Shibuya" was about one of Indonesian Restaurants in Japan. if you are interested in surveying them, here are some of those:

9. Ayung Teras
1F, Le Quartier, 20-12 Sakuragaoka-cho Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 03-5459-9099

Which one we have tried? AYUNG TERAS.
The interior is a blend of Java, Sumatra and Bali centered. The music played is Sundanese Balinese --perhaps because Balinese Gong is too dynamic as a background music but Sundanese is so melancholic for non-sundanese to play in a restaurant.

The waitress and cook are Japanese but there is one waitress who can speak eloquent Indonesian (as Indonesian you'll feel home) who will greet you " silakan (please), mas (elder brother),mbak (elder sister)" --the very common expressions used by Indonesian especially those from Java island like us.

The food is delicious but not too hot --so if you are not Indonesian , you still can enjoy the food very much like we do.

Try their pisang goreng (fried banana), omelette (it's only omelette but very special!), nasi goreng (fried rice). If you dare to try the Indonesian hot sauce, just order sambal (traditional chilli sauce) or sambal ijo (green chilli sauce), balado udang (prawn in chilli sauce) . It's our favorite!

Anyone interested going there ?
